PURCHASING A GIFT CERTIFICATE
Buying Gift Certificates On-Line
Other Music offers gift certificates that can be used both in the store
and for website purchases. On the chart below, click the price which you'd like to select. You'll be directed to the shopping cart where you should select "Checkout Purchase." Proceed to the check out page by using our secure server (recommended) or our standard server. Verify your purchase and then enter YOUR first and last name, telephone number and e-mail address as well as YOUR address in the "Billing Address" field.
How to Designate Recipient's Shipping Information
We will mail the
certificate along with a courtesy card to the recipient. In the "Shipping
Address" section, enter the recipient's name in the "Address Line One"
field
and
their street address in "Address Line Two" field.
**Please note, even
though the shopping cart automatically applies a $4.99 shipping and handling
fee and a sales tax, you will not be charged for either of these amounts.
Other Music only adds a $1 shipping and handling cost to gift certificates
mailed in the United States.**
Redeeming Your Gift Certificate for a Website Purchase
Although othermusic.com is not
currently set-up to automatically apply gift certificates towards on-line
purchases, you can still use your certificate to shop from our website and our
Weekly Update. After you determine what titles you would like to buy, e-mail a
list of those items to
orders@othermusic.com.
You will need to include four things: your name, shipping address, the gift
certificate number written on the top right corner, and a daytime phone number
where you can be reached.
We will verify
that we received your e-mail within 48 hours and issue you an order number. Any
remaining balance on your gift certificate will be issued as a store credit. If
your purchase total is more than the value of the gift certificate, we will
contact you to apply the rest of the balance to your credit card. For any other
